Guides
Zafar Iqbal
Zafar is our General Manager and senior cultural guide who
has two and half decades of experience in tour guiding.
His tremendous knowledge of history and culture makes him popular
among various travel agents and visitors from around the world.
In recognition of Zafar' his professional guts "Wander Lust" magazine
has regarded him as one of the six best guides of the world" Zafar belongs
to the remote, mountainous kingdom of Hunza and is a natural born climber.
He has led numerous K2 treks and has climbed Nanga Parbat as a "Sherpa".
Attaullah Khan
Our adventure guide Attaullah Khan nick named "Atta" has been guiding
expeditions, treks, and safaris since 1986. He is the favorite guide of some
of the esteemed out-fitters of the world, such as Mountain Travel-Sobek and
Wilderness Travel from the United States, Himalayan Kingdoms from the United
Kingdom and, DAV Summit club from Germany. Atta is not only an accomplished
mountaineer but privileged to be the first certified white water river guide
of the country. In 1994 Atta guided an expedition that made the first descent
of the Ghizar River. In recognition of his outstanding performance and
professionalism the Alpine Club of Pakistan awarded him with the "Kowas Gee Medal".
Atta exclusively leads strenuous treks such as Baltoro/Ghondogoro La and
Biafo-Hisper etc.
